Wellness & Annual Exams

Our annual nose to tail check-ups allow us to detect, treat, or better yet, prevent problems before they affect your pets’ health. They also provide you with the opportunity to ask us questions about nutrition, behavior, dental health or other concerns you might have.

Infectious diseases can be transmitted by other animals or the environment. We can protect our friends from life threatening diseases with a simple injection. We will tailor a vaccine plan that is just right for your pet’s life style.

Parasite Control (Flea, Tick, Heartworm)

We recommend flea and tick prevention year round. Ticks carry many diseases ( not all we can vaccinate against) and our winters are getting milder so they be out even in the colder months. Fleas can transmit tapeworms and diseases. Heartworms are transmitted by mosquitos. A simple once a month medication can prevent your dog from getting infected. We also recommend this year round.

Microchips reunite lost pets and their owners! They are small chips that get implanted under your pet’s skin ( a quick and easy procedure). Most animal control facilities and of course veterinarians can scan the chip’s unique number and find the registered owner.

Pharmacy (In-House)

For your convenience we carry most medications your pet will need so you can start treating as soon as possible. We are happy to quickly order less common medications for you.

X-rays (radiology)

Radiographs give us a better idea what might be going on in your pet’s inside. We can assess heart and lungs, the gastrointestinal tract and abdomen, Joint and bone health and much more. Our brand-new digital x ray machine is state of the art. We offer send-out to a radiology service to make sure you can get a specialist’s opinion.
